Week 6 : Revision about Previous Lesson......

Salam.....
This week, its all about last week lesson....

Prof Zac have show us again about :
1.  Testing Server - How to Off  ASP and On the PHP using Xampp.
2.  Setting up the database
3.  Create Site
4.  Connection
5.  Create Form

After this 2nd time of explanation, it help me to understand the step.
Prof Zac also give us some homework to do and have to submit them before 5th of April.

Thats all..... 

Exercise 1 Reflection......

Salam......These are our reflections after doing exercise 1 task.

§  At  first, we are facing trouble because our group members laptop are using Windows 7 Home Basic & Windows XP Home Edition OS which cannot works with ISS Server properly.

§  We glad that one of our group members laptop OS is using Windows Vista Ultimate. We have been trying to follow all the steps provided by our lecturer until the end of it.

§  The steps are just the same as the written guides provided by her.

§  After finished, we preview the contact.asp file in Firefox and it works. There’s nothing wrong with the table.

§  Then we tested it by typing some data and click Save. But, there’s an error which the database can’t be displayed.

§  We try to find the problem, it takes us few days. Until our lecturer, Prof Zaidatun helps us to find the problem.

§  From that, we find that there are few mistakes that we have done and we had taken this step to solve the problems:

             i.            The problem come from a mistakes which we have put a few redundant form in a single form for the contact.asp page. For example, to build a registration page, we add one form. Inside the form we create the table. In the ‘Name Field’ box, we suppose to insert a “TextField” there but we mistakenly insert another form and a “TextField”.  This mistake has caused the error to operate.

           ii.            We also remove all the previous setting in Application > Server Behaviours for the view.asp page.

         iii.            When then we redo contact.asp page, we also redo the setting of the “InsertRecord” & “Recordset” in the Application > Server Behaviours for the view.asp page.

         iv.            We also redo again the “Repeat Region” for the viewcontact.asp page.

           v.            After applying these correction steps, we save both of the pages and preview them again in Firefox. Alhamdulillah, its working.

PHP .........week 5 !

Nampaknya task minggu ni sangat mencabar minda dan kesabaran..... Disebabkan terlalu sukar untuk diterangkan, so saya akan explain dalam BM je..hehehe

So hari ni Prof Z menerangkan kepada kami semua tentang langkah untuk mewujudkan database menggunakan PHP...erm...pada mulanya mmg SANGAT SUKAR....memandangkan Prof Z memberikan penerangan dengan sangat pantas kerana beliau menggunakan BM...huhuhu.....

So setelah beberapa kali try...asyik error saja... tension betul... Saya telah menilai/menyemak semula kesalahan yang telah dilakukan....so MEMANG ada !!!...

Here are some info i like 2 share.... masalah saya adalah bila view dalam Mozilla, setelah key in maklumat pada ruangan 'input', then apabila klik submit button....akan appear " no table found " . Setelah dikaji, so inilah kesalahan yang telah sy lakukan....

Lihat pada bulatan merah tersebut, kesalahan saya ialah ( table 1 ) yg sepatutnya ( table1).... jadi ini cara utk 'rename' semula table itu..

 Langkah 1 : Pergi semula ke button 'info' dan pilih 'table 1'
 Langkah 2 : Klik pada 'Operation'
 Langkah 3 : Betulkan nama table pada ruangan ' Rename table to :'...
 

Tetapi anda perlu membetulkan semula  Recordset  pada Binding dan Server Behaviours  pada  input.php & view.php... 

Ini adalah hasilnya....hehehe...YES !!!! BERJAYA

Taip Comment anda....dan submit.....semua paparan komen akan dapat dilihat seperti ini.....
